Julie Wieland

Julie, a multidisciplinary graphic designer and visual artist, was born in Luxembourg, raised in Germany, and is truly based on the internet. Her creative journey began in the early days of Myspace and DeviantArt, where she mastered HTML and dove into Adobe tutorials, setting the foundation for her digital expertise. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Design from the Berliner Technische Kunsthochschule, Julie transitioned from senior in-house graphic designer to a full-time freelancer in 2021. In 2022, she incorporated generative AI into her workflow, using it to push creative boundaries and produce stunning, futuristic designs. Whether you're an entrepreneur or visionary, Julie combines her design skills and AI magic to turn ideas into unforgettable visual experiences.

I used a melancholic and somewhat strange visual style to represent the cluttered chaos and unkind reality that Ronald experiences. The aim was to capture the feeling of being lost in one's own thoughts, like a child running wild in a maze. The imagery and lyrics work together to create a surreal and introspective atmosphere, inviting viewers to connect with their own inner child and the complexities of navigating adult life.

The project explores imaginary landscapes as a way of manifesting reality with joy as a form of revolt. Delivery Included is a film that imagines a fictional ad for a puffer jacket, with a playful twist on the term "delivery included." The film features drone-to-doorstep delivery, even if that doorstep is perched high up in a canyon.  Created using Runway's Gen-3 Early Access Text to Video and relying solely on text prompts, the film explores cloth simulations, weightlessness, and tests how the new model handles 3D textured letters.
